Summer Activities

Here it is, summer, and things are getting started with a bang. Basalt Recreation really has some fun classes and camps that are very affordable, one of the good things about Basalt Rec.

Coming up next week is the Access Roaring Fork Film Camp. This week long camp will teach middle school age students the ins and outs of making a short film. Creativity is encouraged in this camp. It is only $150 for a whole week of camp.

June 22 - 26 we are offering the Longhorn Basketball Camp with Jason Kreiling. What an awesome way to keep your game going through the summer. Learn new skills and compete with other players. Check it out! Dude, it's only $80 for the entire week!

Check out the art classes and beautiful beading classes that D.D. Gerdin is offering. D.D. has an awesome way to show the young students how to make beautiful things from ordinary, everyday items. Fun and very inexpensive!

Coming up later in June is the Scratch Camp with Access Roaring Fork. If you have every wanted to make computer animations, you should really check this camp out. It will teach you so much, you will definately walk out of the camp with a better understanding of computers.

We are also offering an Athleticism class. What is Athleticism? It is a class that will teach you to become faster, stronger, more coordinated and more athletic in all your sports passions. The cost is $150, but if you register with a buddy, you can take $25 off that right now!!
